Jaron Ennis and Eimantas Stanionis Headline a Dazn card that promises an ‘Instant Classic’

Saturday’s welterweight one-year fight between Jaron “Boots ‘Ennis and Eimantas Stanionis could be a’ direct classic ‘in the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Promoter Hearn believes that the battle between IBF champion Ennis (33-0, 29 CO’s) has the potential to be the’ battle of the year.

Stanionis can pull out the dismay if he can withstand the push of boots and avoid some of the power photos he throws. The Olympic 2016 is not difficult to hit, and he will have to depend on his power play to defeat Ennis.

Early stops?

Jaron must have brought one of the performances he showed in Karen Chukhadzhian. Hearn feels that Ennis can do it as long as he is not drained for the fight. He thought Boots, 27, looked better at the weigh -in of today, with him on 146 1/2 pounds.

Eddie warns that boots cannot afford to rehydrate 20+ pounds, as he will be slow and drowsy against Stanionis on Saturday night. Ennis looked pretty big before he started his weight cut for the fight, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he weighed in the 180s.

“He will have to be special tomorrow night to beat Stanionis. I think Stanionis comes up in the form of his life, and you’ll get a thriller in Atlantic City on Dazn tomorrow night, ‘said the promoter Eddie Hearn Dazn box about Saturday’s unification fight between Jaron Ennis and Eimantas Stanionis. “I was surprised to hear yesterday (Trainer Derek) Bozy (Ennis) calls out an early stopping for boots.”

The last man who knocked out Ennis early was David Avanesyan in the fifth round last July. However, the fighter is not on the same level as Stanionis or as young. Boots had an easier task against him than he would do on Saturday.

“Stanionis will be aggressive. He will probably make mistakes early, and boots are a fantastic counter-puncher and a tremendous IQ,” says Hearn. “While the fight is going deeper, the pressure of Stanionis will naturally cause the Stanionis engine any problems.”

Ennis fought better in the later rounds against Karen than he had in early November last year. If he can fight like that, he will be too much for Stanionis in the second half of the fight.

Immediately classic?

“It’s a wonderful game of styles. I can’t see anything but a battle of the year, and that’s exactly what we want,” Hearn said. “We saw some tremendous battles in Saudi and the Ring Magazine cards. Now we see another one. It’s on fire on Dazn.

“Tomorrow night you get an immediate classic and something for the pure box fans, something for the hardcore, something for comfortable sports fans, and something for everything in terms of the way he has made weight,” says Hearn.
