Jack Miller confirms he is ‘talking to other people’ as he continues to wait for news on Yamaha’s future.

Miller, 31, joins Yamaha’s satellite team Prima Pramac Racing after being replaced by Pedro Acosta at KTM ahead of the 2025 campaign.

The Australian was seen as a key figure for Yamaha due to his experience with V4 engines; However, his performance on the track has been less than ideal.

Miller currently sits at the bottom of the MotoGP standings with just two points from the opening six rounds.

Looking ahead, the 31-year-old’s future is uncertain. It has already been reported Yamaha were looking to replace Miller with Izan Guevara..

Jack Miller confirmed talks with ‘other people’ among Yamaha’s future prospects

Speaking in Barcelona last weekend Miller As he continues to wait for news about his future, he said he has been talking to other people.

The Australian admits he has no idea what his future holds at the moment, but is determined about what he can deliver on the motorcycle.

as a Fox NewsWhen asked if he knew anything about his future, Miller said, “No at Yamaha.

But (I’m) obviously talking to other people. I know the value I can bring to a project, I know what I can do on a motorcycle, so if that’s what[Yamaha]wants to do, it’s not my decision.

“I’ve put my best foot forward this year, trying to do my best so far. I’m going to keep doing that until the end. Wherever it goes, it’s well and truly out of my hands. I’ll do what I can on a motorcycle.”

Jack Miller wants to continue racing when he has the opportunity to become a test driver

With his future up in the air, Miller has been tipped to become a test driver, joining the likes of Dani Pedrosa, Aleix Espargaro and Pol Espargaro.

However, Miller said he is not focusing on that as he looks to continue his racing career.

“I’m not focusing on that, I’m just trying to do better, ride better and work harder than ever,” added Miller.

“I’m sick and tired of being behind, it’s really driving me crazy, I’m putting everything I’ve got into this, and I’m trying to give the maximum back to Yama and the maximum for myself.

“I want to race. I don’t care about testing things, but I do it for the light at the end of the tunnel. At the end of the day, I enjoy racing motorcycles.”
