Iker Lecuona admits it would be a ‘mistake’ to consider returning to MotoGP despite his performance at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
At the beginning of the month Lecuona is produced by Gresini. Instead of Alex Marquez at the Hungarian Grand Prix at Balaton Park.
Marquez was still recovering from his major accident. At the Catalan Grand Prix, Lecuona joined Fermin Aldeguer to ride for Gresini.
Despite being away from MotoGP for a while, Lecuona prepared a good show Marc Marquez won the race, finishing seventh.
Looking ahead, Lecuona will continue his WorldSBK career, stuck behind Niccolò Bulega.

He said recently. Speed weekLecuona was asked about a full-time return to MotoGP following his strong ride at Balaton Park.
In response, the Spaniard refused to close the door, but admitted it was a ‘mistake’ to think about the Premier League at this point.
Lekuona He explained: “I’m not saying it’s impossible at all! I learned this when I was a kid. When I was a kid, I often told my father it was impossible – for example during training.”
“Always ‘nothing is impossible!’ He used to tell me. After a few attempts, I always manage. And even as a child I removed the word ‘impossible’ from my vocabulary.
“At the moment I’m not focused on MotoGP, and I’m very happy with the Superbike World Championship. I’m relaxed and I have an incredible team with a great bike.
“It’s wrong to think about MotoGP now. I don’t want to say I don’t want to go there or stay here for the rest of my career. If the opportunity arises, I will weigh the pros and cons.
“Then I’ll decide if I have a very good relationship with my manager to return to MotoGP or stay here. I’m not thinking about it at the moment, but never say never.”

The 26-year-old also said that if he had to score his performance, it would be 10 out of 10.
Lekuona said: “It was good to come back from seventh place. “I’m very happy with my result. I had to take a wider line than I expected. This took me a long time before I finally got hold of Miller.
“After that I saw Morera and wanted to meet him but it didn’t work out. I’m very grateful for this amazing opportunity. I was able to show my speed and ability. I give myself 10 out of 10.”
