“Won’t happen anytime soon”
“There is a rematch clause, but I don’t think it will happen anytime soon,” Warren said. talkSport Boxing.
“They’ll have to be out of the ring for a while. Probably at least six months.”
The veteran promoter praised both fighters afterwards, describing the fight as one of the best heavyweight bouts he has promoted.

“It was just amazing. It was one of the best shows I’ve ever done,” Warren said.
Warren also defended Dubois against criticism that followed him throughout parts of his career.
“I never want to hear anyone talk about Daniel’s heart again. He gritted his teeth tonight and showed what he can do,” Warren said.
The fight featured several momentum swings, takedowns and sustained punishment from both heavyweights before Dubois finally stopped Wardley.
Heavyweight Roadmap
Although Warren cooled immediate rematch talk, he suggested Dubois’ next move will depend a lot on how the heavyweight division develops over the coming months.
“There are quite a few heavyweight fights coming up in the next few months, and that will determine where we go,” Warren said.
Dubois regained a world heavyweight title with the victory, while Wardley suffered the first loss of his professional career after one of the toughest fights any man has ever experienced.
Several heavyweight contenders, including WBO mandatory challenger Moses Itauma, are expected to return this summer, potentially reshaping the title picture around Dubois soon.
