Four Eredivisie stars who could move to bigger clubs this summer

The Netherlands are known for producing technically gifted footballers who have the ability to play at the highest level in Europe.

Top Eredivisie clubs such as Ajax, PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord regularly develop young players before selling them on to bigger European clubs for a massive profit.

Sports punters around the world are advised to keep track of the latest batch of rising stars as they place their bets for the 2026/27 season.

For punters who take advantage no deposit bonuses in the Netherlandsthese players could ultimately prove to be the difference makers for their new clubs.

As evidenced by international stars such as Frenkie De Jong and Denzel Dumfries, Dutch players have the ability to be part of title-winning teams in Europe’s top leagues.

With that in mind, read on as we look at five Eredivisie stars who could be on the move this summer, starting with an exciting midfield talent from Ajax.

Jorthy Mokio – Ajax

Jorthy Mokio has already made 55 appearances for Ajax, and his performances have attracted admiring glances from Arsenal and Manchester United.

He has established himself as a defensive midfielder, earning eye-watering comparisons with former Chelsea star N’Golo Kante.

Mokia is composed under pressure and has the ability to seamlessly transition from defense to attack. He is also aggressive defensively, making him an ideal screen in front of the back four.

The midfielder, who recently committed his international future to the Democratic Republic of Congo, looks set to attract plenty of interest from elsewhere this summer.

Givairo Read – Feyenoord

Feyenoord star Givario Read is one of Europe’s most sought-after right-backs, and a move to the Premier League could be on the cards this summer.

He has scored five goals and provided 11 assists in 54 appearances for Feyenoord, and has been very likely to become a regular starter for the Dutch national team.

Read has previously been linked with Liverpool, although they are currently well stocked at right-back with Jeremie Frimpong and Conor Bradley.

Manchester City are in the market for right side and it wouldn’t be surprising if he ended up at the Etihad Stadium this summer.

Kees Smit – AZ Alkmaar

Kees Smit is widely regarded as the Eredivisie’s top prospect after a string of highly impressive performances for AZ Alkmaar.

He has been compared to Kevin De Bruyne, which is remarkable praise when you consider what he achieved during a trophy-laden spell with Man City.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal have all tracked the midfielder, while La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are monitoring his progress.

Newcastle United have also been touted as a potential destination for Smit and they could make a move for him if Sandro Tonali leaves the club this summer.

Mika Godts – Ajax

Ajax salvaged something from a very disappointing campaign by securing a place in the second qualifying round of the Europa League Conference through the play-offs.

Mika Godts was a standout player in the Eredivisie, with 17 goals and 12 assists in 34 appearances. He also gained experience in the Champions League.

Godts recently received his first call-up to the Belgian national team, playing in friendlies against the United States and Mexico.

His rise to prominence has earned him comparisons to former Chelsea and Belgium winger Eden Hazard, and it will only be a matter of time before a move elsewhere is secured.
