Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) they held their nerve in a pulsating contest to beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) 27. CSK’s chase falls short despite a strong middle-order effort
In reply, CSK started aggressively but lost wickets at key intervals. Sanju Samson provided a quick start with a six but fell early, while Ruturaj Gaikwad failed to convert his start. It was the highlight of the chase Ayush Mhatre‘s explosive 30 off just 13 balls, kept CSK in the hunt during the powerplay.
Matthew Short and Sarfaraz Khan then put together a crucial partnership by steadying the innings with 34 and 25 runs respectively. However, regular breakthroughs prevented CSK from building sustained momentum. Shivam Dube tried to pick up the pace with a quick 21 in the middle overs, while Overton and Kamboj came towards the end, but the pace required continued to rise.

Eshan Malinga shines as SRH defends successfully
The turning point came through SRH’s brilliantly led bowling unit Eshan Malinga. He delivered a match-winning spell, claiming three wickets for a total of 29 runs in four overs. His ability to strike at crucial moments weakened CSK’s chase considerably.
Nitish Kumar Reddy he also played a key role with two wickets Sakib Hussain and Shivang Kumar each chipped with a door. Although Dust Hinge conceding runs, SRH’s bowlers collectively kept their cool under pressure, especially in the death overs.
