Callaway is upgrading its longest golf ball to the tournament level.
A little over a year after its launchCallaway is reintroducing the Chrome Tour Triple Diamond golf ball, the strongest and fastest golf ball in their lineup, with The new Tour Fast coat from their Chrome 2026 tour line-up.
“We’ve seen great success with this product when we introduced this golf ball in 2025, especially with the fast ball speed,” Callaway Global Golf Ball Director Jason Finley said in a press release. “And with the early success we’ve had, especially with our Tour Fast Mantle technology in the Chrome 2026 product line, we wanted to bring it in line with the new Chrome Tour Triple Diamond golf diamond.”

What’s really new and why you should care
The key new feature of the 2026 Chrome Tour Triple Diamond golf balls is the Speed ​​Tour Mantle, introduced in this year’s Chrome Tour line.
Callaway has been developing the new material for more than four years to achieve a 16 percent higher modulus than the previous generation, resulting in a stiffer shell layer, which means higher speeds without an increase in spin. That means more distance through an optimized base/layer system for all Callaway Chrome Tour golf balls.
No increased spin is essential for a ball like the Triple Diamond, which is designed to have a stronger feel and lower spin combined with the fastest speed of any of Callaway’s golf balls to produce the most distance.
“This ball is fast, and the Fast Tour Mantle just reinforces that it will continue to be one of the fastest golf balls on the market,” said Callaway Senior Director of Golf Ball R&D Eric Loeper. “I’m going to put this golf ball up against anything else and it’s going to be as long or longer. It really depends on that new material that allows us to do that and not increase the spin rates.”
Moving forward, Triple Diamond will now be released at the same time as the rest of the Chrome Tour family.
