Borussia Dortmund edged out Eintracht Frankfurt 3-2 in a thrilling Bundesliga match at Signal Iduna Park, with defensive contributions proving decisive in a closely contested game.
Borussia Dortmund picked up three vital points against Eintracht Frankfurt on May 8, securing a 3-2 victory that keeps them firmly in the title race. The black and yellows are second in the table with 67 points from 31 games, while Frankfurt remain seventh with 43 points from 32 games.
Frankfurt struck first with impressive speed. Can Uzun fired the visitors in just the second minute, catching Dortmund cold in the early stages. The early setback forced the hosts to respond quickly and regain control of proceedings.
