“Explosive ability is very evident,” Dovizioso said. “People come to see them, then others follow. Peco Bagnaia, who has been winning in recent years, has not attracted much attention even when he is strong.”

“Because of that, you don’t pay much attention and you don’t get caught as much, but he was strong because he was at the front, he managed the race and he worked in a certain way. That’s where the less explosive riders pay a bit of a price.”
“I was able to reach the end of my career because I was able to face Marquez in the fight.
But there was always a limit for my fans, because I didn’t see explosive things… I could always get good results, but people love explosives.
Francesco Bagnaia is the third most followed MotoGP rider on the 2026 grid.
While Dovizioso Bagnaia’s riding style has made him one of the most exciting riders to watch, the Italian’s followers on social media beg to differ.
As of this writing, #63 is the third most followed rider on the 2026 grid, behind only Marc Marquez and Fabio Quatararo8.3 million and 2.5 million Instagram followers respectively.
