Belinda Bencic is ready to continue her career, just six months after giving birth to daughter Bella in April. The former World No.4 says she will start with a wild card into an ITF event in Hamburg, which begins on October 28, before joining Team Switzerland for their Billie Jean King Cup Playoff match against Serbia on November 15-16.
Bencic, 27, says she hopes to use the competition to test her level as she plans to rejoin the tour in 2025.

Bencic’s last match was in San Diego last September.
“I’m still not at the absolute peak of my tennis and fitness level, but I feel very good and ready to compete,” said the eight-time WTA title winner. “I want to test myself in a competitive environment to see what we need to work on to start the next season in good shape. We also want to see how we can manage day-to-day life on tour with Bella.
