IND vs AFG: Morne Morkel reveals India’s long-term plans ahead of Afghanistan ODIs

Fortunately, we have two guys in our team in Prince and Gurnoor. Obviously the balls are coming at a high speed and you want to protect yourself even if there’s a slight deflection. But I can assure you there’s no problem. Rohit is moving well and training well. He’s very excited to come back. The calmness he brings to the dressing room is always positive, he’s training well, he’s moving well. Morkel said.

With India balancing experienced stars and new talent, the Afghanistan ODI series could provide valuable answers as the team begins its journey towards the next big ICC event.
