Angel Charte praised the ‘big heart’ of Marc Marquez
Márquez poses a threat on his return to the Italian Grand Prix after a full race weekend in Barcelona. In an interview with The newspaper At Balaton Park, MotoGP medical director Angel Charte said he had ‘doubts’.
Indeed, There are those who wrote Marquez in the paddock. When he introduced the double operation after Le Mans. He asked if the motivation comes after winning his seventh Premier Division title last season.
But Charte says that couldn’t be further from the truth. For his opponents, Marquez is still not back to full strength. While trying to rebuild the muscle in his right shoulder.
“Everything is going very well, very well,” Charte said. “This guy is incredibly strong, mentally and physically strong, and most of all he has a huge heart and incredible passion for his sport and his profession. Like everyone else.”

“Everything is going well. I had my doubts when I checked him in Mugello last week, I’m not going to lie to you, but he’s incredibly disciplined with the steps he has to take, and he’s also very mentally strong, which is important.
“What remains now – and yes, there is still work to be done – is to regain strength, muscle mass and tone in his right shoulder. And as he says, it won’t happen in three days.”
Marquez produced a perfect weekend – pole, sprint win, race win – for the first time since Hungary last year. Pedro Acosta pushed hard, but in the end it wasn’t enough.
