Ellery Lincoln and Jackson Spencer set high school mile records – runblogrun


It HOKA Mile Festival marks the classic mile distance. Now in its 19th year HOKA Mile Festival has started Big River Running Company and then by Big River manager Ben Rosario. The event is now collaborative REMEMBERED and: Big River Running Company.

HOKA celebrates top high school milers from Missouri and the US In addition to those events, the HOKA Festival Miles always feature strong Pro Miles.

This year, Ellery Lincoln and Jackson Spencer impressed. HOKA and Big River seeded fifteen boys under the 4:05 mile and fifteen girls under the 4:50 mile. Their 800m was also deep, with the girls clocking in at 2:10 and the boys clocking in at 1:51. The junior high fields were also quite impressive.

Jackson Spencer set for a new Meet Record HOKA Mile Festival with him 3:57.24. Spencer covered the 400m in 59 seconds, the 800m in 1:59 and the 1200m in 2:59, running solo in the latter to set her PB in the mile at 3:57.24. Jackson Spencer should be nominated to BYU when his missionary service is over (I think it’s anywhere from six months to twenty-four months). Last fall, Jackson Spencer won both the NIKE Cross and Brooks XC Nationals, won the 5000m and the DMR. New Balance Indoor. Outside, Jackson Spencer ran 3200m in 8:31.80 in Arcadia Invitaitonal and a 13:54.70 solo run 5000 meters for indoor. Jackson Spencer Ea very talented athlete who had strong coaching in high school and will be under his tutelage Ed Eystone, Director of Track and Field at Brigham Young University. Ed Eistone is one of the best coaches in the country. Jackson will be in good hands.

Ellery Lincoln ran the best mile of his life there HOKA Miles Festival. Junior time: Lincoln High School Ellery is fined in Portland, Oregon 4:27.65, new meet record. Ellery had company Braylin Combssenior h Santiago High School in Corona, California.

Ellery Lincoln won two titles Oregon State meet winning 1500 meters in 4:18.83 and: 3000 meters 9:30.41winning by twelve seconds in the 1,500 meters and seventeen seconds in the 3,000 meters. Braylin Combs won 800 meters in 2:05.13, the 1600 meters 4:35.99, and: 4x800m in 8:46.16 (new state record with his team) California. Ellery’s time is the #3 All-Time High School Girls Mile Time.

Ellery Lincoln and: Braylin Combs Battled until the final furlong when Ellery pulled away, building a small lead and moving into a large lead, winning in 4:27.65 to 4:32.41. Ellery praised Braylin in an interview after the race Dawn Harper: (gold, Beijing 2008 and silver, London 2012, bronze, Daegu 2011, silver, London 2017). Ellery Lincoln, a junior, committed to the University of Oregon, and Braylin Combssenior, committed to the University of Arkansas. Eller will be trained Shalane Flanagan as a duck, and Braylin will coach Chris Johnson as a Razor back. Both coaches are at the top of their game and will help these athletes fulfill their promise.
