Marc Marquez has revealed he is feeling ‘better than I thought’ at the Italian Grand Prix.

Speaking after practice on Friday, Marquez He was happy with how the day went, but admitted that he expected to feel better than he had on the bike.
The 33-year-old said he felt ‘worse’ than he thought and described the ‘new pains’ he had. He also outlined his new objective of ‘rebuilding’ his arm.
Speaking to Motorsport, the DAZNMarquez said: “The day was great because I didn’t feel any wobble, which was the nerve rack. But it’s true that I expected to feel better on the bike.”
“I expected to feel better on the bike in FP1, and I felt worse than I thought, but it’s true that when the nerves work better, there are new aches and pains and different positions, which I have to adapt to.
“I have to be patient, that’s what I’ve learned, although I know I have to take risks in practice, but now the aim is to build my arm.
“Well, we have to see where the limits are for this arm that has had seven surgeries from the elbow to the shoulder.
If you ask a doctor, they don’t really know what time it is. I’ll have to see how it goes, but most of all carefully, even if it’s hard to think about that down the road.

Marquez went on to say that his performance must be ‘worse’ as the weekend continues as he is ‘losing time’ in the right corner.
However, the Spaniard insists he is ready to take on the challenge of getting back to his best form.
Márquez added: “In theory, I should be getting worse this weekend. I’m still losing time in the right corners and the straights.”
“I signed up to get to Le Mans like this, it’s not easy, the good thing is that in my mind I’m ready to face this process to get back to 100%.”
“This could be in two weeks, a month or two months. I had two tests after FP1, and if I had a problem with the nerves, it would have been known immediately.
“When I decided to come, it was because there were no contraindications. But we have to see what the maximum is. My body is showing signs of compensation with my left hand.”
