TESTERS WANTED: Vokey SM11 Custom Fit Experience

According to the Vokey team at Titleist, a properly fitted club can make all the difference.

For this MyGolfSpy Forum Member Test, we are giving away five members the opportunity to experience one of the most personal pieces of equipment in golf – a complete Vokey wedge assembly resulting in completely custom SM11 wedges, including personal stamping to make them uniquely yours.

This isn’t just about wedge testing. It’s about finding out what the right scoring clubs can do for your game.

Five MyGolfSpy Forum members will receive:

  • A professional Vokey wedge mount
  • A custom set of Titleist Vokey SM11 wedges
  • Personal stamping to make them completely unique
  • The ability to document the entire process for the MyGolfSpy community

From the fitting experience to course results, testers will share everything – including how fitted wedges affect contact, trajectory, spin and putt performance.

Vokey Philosophy: Contact. The flight. Rotation.

According to the Vokey team, great wedge play comes down to three essential elements:

Get in touch. The flight. Rotation.

A Vokey device is designed to unlock all three.

Contact – Built through Grind
The sole grind determines how the wedge interacts with the terrain and sand. Proper locking allows the club to work with your natural swing instead of fighting it.

Flight — controlled via CG
The SM11 wedges feature carefully positioned center of gravity locations throughout the loft matrix, producing more predictable launch windows and trajectories.

Spin – Engineered Through the Vokey Spin System
Spin is not about chasing the biggest number. It’s about control.
Vokey’s roll system uses precise groove design, groove geometry and face structure to create consistent and predictable stopping power.

Because scoring isn’t about maximum torque – it’s about controlled torque when it counts.

Why is wedge fitting important?

One of the most interesting truths that emerges during a Vokey fit is that the wedge fit is often the most personal fit in the bag. Wedges are about feel, interaction with terrain and confidence.

Assembly starts from the ground up – literally.

Rather than starting with ball speed or launch numbers, Vokey fitters begin by understanding how your sole interacts with the turf and sand, identifying the grind that best matches your technique and playing conditions.

What makes the Vokey SM11 different?

The Titleist Vokey SM11 wedges continue Bob Vokey’s relentless pursuit of wedge performance with subtle but significant improvements.

Highlights include:

  • CG progress: Strategically placed CG positions throughout the loft create more controlled trajectories and improved distance consistency.
  • Vokey roll system: Precision mill grooves combined with face texture deliver the kind of predictable spins elite players demand.
  • Tournament inspired form: Compact profiles, refined top lines and a variety of sole grinds enable golfers to build a wedge configuration tailored to their exact shot preferences.
  • Industry leading grinding options: Vokey wedges are famous for their grind matrix, giving fitters the ability to tailor the wedges to swing style and playing conditions.

The result: wedges designed not just to perform—but to unlock shots players didn’t know they had.

What we are looking for in testers

We want five golfers who love the golf side of the game.

Ideal testers will:

  • Be excited about wedge play and short game performance
  • Be prepared to document their relevant experience
  • Provide detailed feedback on contact, trajectory, spin and score results
  • Share photos, videos and insights during the course

Bonus points if you’re the type of golfer who:

  • Obsessed with wedge grinders
  • He likes to experiment with short strokes
  • Tracks stats like proximity, up-down and scrolling performance
