Gresini boss Michel Massini says Alex Marquez is ‘fine’ following his horrific crash at the Catalan Grand Prix.

Saturday’s sprint winner had a serious crash. Catalan Grand Prix. As he challenged Pedro Acosta for the lead on lap 12, the KTM rider’s engine suddenly cut out on the back straight.

D’Giantantonio immediately sent his best wishes to Marquez After the race. Joan Mir and Gresini team-mate Fermin Aldeguer echoed the sentiment, with the two Spaniards completing the Catalan GP podium.

Everyone in the MotoGP paddock will be hoping Marquez makes a speedy recovery from his horrific crash. The same goes for Johan Zarkom, who had a serious crash at the restart of the race.
