Forget what “big golf” wants you to think: it’s okay to wear tight golf shirts and they look good. Full stop. You don’t need stripes or patterns to look good on the course.
While it may sound a little conspiratorial, I believe many clothing brands get away with paying $100 for golf polos because they are making striped or patterned shirts. From a performance perspective, most premium golf polos are synthetic and mass produced. In short, they’re not all that special.

I’ll keep things short because the title tells you all you need to know. $34.90 FlowKnit Breeze Polo it’s as good as any premium golf shirt on the market. It’s really impressive that Quince is making such a good shirt for roughly a third of what many premium brands charge. As soon as I took the FlowKnit Breeze out of its eco-friendly packaging, I knew it was good. If I didn’t know the price, I would have assumed it was more than $100.
Now, I will admit that I usually prefer textured and/or cotton golf polos. That’s where my taste leans. But this is one of the rare performance polos that really works for me. It looks premium, feels premium and performs like something much more expensive. It wicks moisture extremely well, moves comfortably and, after multiple wears and washes since August 2025, still looks and feels practically brand new.
Most importantly, it helps achieve one of my favorite looks in golf: the Adam Scott school of simple elegance. Plain solid polo. Turtleneck top. Neutral skirts. Brown leather belt. That’s it: simple, clean and mature golf style.
It also works beyond the course. Running for a quick morning coffee and don’t want to wear a plain t-shirt? Throw this away. You’ll look lifted without feeling overdressed. For $35, this shirt it’s absolutely insane.
