Pramac team boss Borsoy In the year Having joined the MotoGP grid in 2025 after winning a third World Superbike title, Razgatlioglu’s frustration is understandable. But he added that Pramac could not provide Razgatlioglu and Miller with the tools to “fight” with the current Yamaha M1.
“He wants to prove that he is fast and so far he has not succeeded for many reasons,” said Borsoy. Engine footprint. “Firstly because he’s inexperienced, secondly because the bike doesn’t allow it.

Borsoy believes that Razgatlioglu’s biggest problem is adapting to his new life in MotoGP, having only raced with Pirelli tires during his time in World Superbikes. But it also echoes Razgatlioglu’s belief that engine braking is an issue.
Borsoy continued, “Toprak’s main problem is understanding the tires. “He has a lot of trouble stopping the bike, he realizes he can’t brake as well as he should, then he has problems with the engine braking, but now it’s the bike he’s driving instead of the other way around.
“There were times like the last part of the race in Jerez where he dominated. In the last lap he was faster on new tyres. It’s a combination of things.”
“The braking of the engine is not yet adjusted according to the riding style. MotoGP is very complicated compared to SBK. There are a thousand electronic settings that can be changed.”
Yamaha test rider Augusto Fernandez finished the Spanish GP behind Razgatlioglu in his first appearance of the season. Quattararo in P14 was the only Yamaha rider to score points as the Spaniard finished in P20 with a deficit of 20.466s to Razgatlioglu.
