Marco Bezcicci’s Spanish Grand Prix sprint was cursed before the start, due to a tear after the lights went out in Jerez.
Starting from P4 on the grid, the MotoGP Championship leader was hoping for a relatively stable race, finally starting to string together some strong results in the short sprint races.

Many commented “this should be banned” and “why shouldn’t this be banned” while another pointed out that Bezeci was lucky to be on his bike at the start of the race.
They posted, “Definitely dangerous to break up like that, lucky it didn’t fall. Another wrote, “Demolition shouldn’t be allowed on the grid, it’s just stupid.”
It’s a sentiment he’s expressed for some time now as one fan expressed how tired MotoGP fans are of calling for change. “Surely something has to be done, I don’t know how many times I’ve said it,” he concluded.
