The lack of offensive output was also on display in the game, where their expected first-half goals tally was the lowest under current management.
Questions about mindset and commitment
Rosenior took direct aim at the players’ mentality, noting a lack of belief, courage and competitive edge. He revealed that the team lost the vast majority of physical contests and failed to win a single aerial duel, describing the effort levels as unacceptable for a club of this stature.
While he denied any breakdown in communication between staff and the team, he acknowledged that the performances could create that impression. He stressed that accountability is required in every way, including himself, but insisted that the attitude shown was far below expectations.
The manager described himself as angry and hurt, claiming that only a handful of players showed the necessary commitment. He warned that these standards cannot continue and that significant changes are needed immediately.
Increased fan and hierarchy pressure
