I’m a Golf Style Expert: Here are five outfits you need to start your season off right

With the Masters in the books, that means it’s golf season almost everywhere in the United States. As clubs and courses open again, I believe it is important to dress for success. If you want to take 5-10 strokes off your game this season, dress the part. Part of the beauty of golf is the thrill of the chase—improving by a fraction of a percent. The belief in our games and the belief that we will continue to improve keeps us coming back. When we put even a fraction of the effort we’ve put into upping our games into the way we dress, I guarantee you’ll start to feel better on the course. As the old saying goes: look good, feel good, play good. Here are five pieces you can shop now to help you start your season off on the right foot and look great.

STAY Holderness & Bourne polos at an extremely high rating. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you want an absolutely premium polo, look no further than Holderness & Bourne. While expensive at $118, Springer it is quickly becoming my favorite golf polo. This is a shirt that washes and dries extremely well and after multiple uses, it looks and feels brand new. Sometimes it pays to invest in a premium piece, and this is one shirt that I can say with great certainty that it’s worth it. I love how I feel when I wear it Springerand somehow I always find it clear to have a good round at it.

I’ll admit it: I’m a golf shorts guy. With a layer of seven inches, Quince Pro Tech Golf Shorts they are pretty perfect (I’d prefer six inches, but a one inch difference won’t kill me). Quince is easily making some of the best and most affordable golf apparel out there, and at $39.90, these shorts are a great addition to your golf wardrobe. They have enough stretch, wash and wear well, and look and feel premium. Also, if a seven-inch seam is too short for you, they have a longer version with a inseam nine inches.

A simple golf wardrobe serves everyone well. Look, I love a good stiletto belt as much as the next guy, but sometimes keeping things simple and elegant is the best game. If you’re just building your golf outfit or just want to look a little better, a braided leather belt works wonders. Another invited offer is Woven Jack Belt. For $60, you’re getting a genuine leather strap, and in a world where some golf straps cost more than $150, that’s a great deal and will go with any top and bottom combination.

Sometimes the sharp look extends from your outfit to your accessories. For a number of reasons, there has been a certain stigma attached to adults who use backpacks. The reason for this is that many adults are using the wrong backpacks, especially in terms of their clothing. of Jones A2 changes all that. This is a mature backpack that looks just as good with a button-down shirt and chinos as it does with a tee and shorts. Mine comes with me on almost every course I go to – not only because of its storage capabilities, but it also looks like a million bucks.

Does FootJoy need an introduction? Of course not. That being said, the new Field Series Premiere Shoes they might be the nicest golf shoes I’ve come across. Once again, what works so well is simplicity. I am totally smitten with the white/aqua color. That subtle aqua stripe adds such a subtle visual contrast to this shoe that makes them stand out. Dressing well on the golf course will certainly help you feel better, but as one of the best shoes in the game, the FutJoit Premiere Series Field Shoes will also help you objectively play better.
