Separate training time for the 3rd round
After shooting 66-64, Scotland’s Robert MacIntyre (-14) holds a commanding lead at the Valero Texas Open halfway through, with a four-shot lead over his nearest competitor, Ludvig Aberg (-10).
MacIntyre has two career PGA Tour wins that came nearly two years ago: the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open and the 2024 RBC Canadian Open. MacIntyre has been in fine form so far this season, posting two top-4 finishes since January, including a fourth-place finish at The Players Championship last month.
Aberg is also looking for his third career win after winning his first two titles at the 2023 RSM Classic and the 2025 Genesis Invitational.
MacIntyre and Aberg will play alongside Kevin Roy in Saturday’s final set at 11.11am.
