Varun Chakravarthy, who made his India comeback after three years, made sure to get into the wickets column in the ongoing second T20I against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The spinner provided his team with an important wicket Lytton Das in pursuit.
On the first ball he bowled in the game, Varun Chakravarty came up with a jaffa and picked a wicket for his team inside the powerplay. The mystery spinner caught the Bangladesh National Cricket Team batter off guard and packed it off after a little start with the bat.
Chakravarthy bowled a spell on the short side and Litton Das looked to slide it across the line. The wicketkeeper-batsman was beaten due to lack of bounce and the stumps were disturbed.

Varun Chakravarthy records figures of 2/19 four times
Chakravarthy again produced a magical effort with the ball for the team. After removing Litton Das, he took a sensational catch of Rishad Hossain as well as Hardik Pandya to get the batter out and gave the mystery spinner his second wicket.
Varun Chakravarthy recorded figures of 2/19 in the four games he bowled. He caught the Bangladeshi batsmen off guard and made sure to help his team win the second game of the series and take an elusive 2-0 lead in the series with one game to play.
Picking three wickets in the last game, Varun Chakravarthy makes sure to put up a great performance in the comeback series and send a strong message to the selectors. He has taken 5 wickets in the series so far and will be looking to take more scalps in the next game.
Apart from Varun Chakraborty, Nitish Reddy picked two wickets. Arshdeep Singh, Washington Sundar, Abhishek Sharma, Mayank Yadav and Riyan Parag also took a wicket each. They restricted Bangladesh to 135 runs to win the game by 86 runs.
Wasim Jaffer praises Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh
Former Indian National Cricket Team player Wasim Jaffer praised young batsmen Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh for their performance with the bat in the second T20I. He believes it was a great counter-attacking partnership and credited the team with winning the series. He said:
“Always good to see young potential turn into performance. Great counter-attacking partnership between Nitish and Rinku after India lost 3 weeks in PP. Bangladesh were never in the game after that. Congratulations India for sealing the series.”
With the bat, India were reeling at 41/3. It was then that Rinku Singh (53) along with Nitish Kumar Reddy (74) rescued the team and brought them back into the game. The duo added 108 runs off 59 balls and put Bangladesh National Cricket Team on the back foot in the game.
