Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh Mumbai Indians shared their views on which overseas players will feature in IPL 2026. Speaking to Star Sports, Harbhajan suggested that the team’s overseas combination should start with a wicket-taker. According to him, either Quinton de Kock or should Ryan Rickelton open the innings for the franchise. Bhajji then went with two outside bowling options in his form Trent Boult and Allah Ghazanfar.

“To begin with, either Quinton de Kock or Ryan Rickelton will play and start in the XI. Then we’ll come down to the bowlers. Trent Boult will obviously play second. Allah Ghazanfar is definitely someone in that line-up.” Harbhajan said.

Harbhajan also highlighted the flexibility available for the fourth outfield slot. He suggested that the decision could depend on pitch conditions and match situations.

“One more player could be Rutherford or Will Jacks. If I was part of the management, I would want to play Rutherford and of course depending on the surfaces. If we are playing in Chennai, I would like to play Will Jacks there because he can play some overs for you,” The brother added.
