Fans can expect some fireworks on Saturday at The Players Championship, where PGA Tour stars will battle for a $4.5 million victory.
At the top is the two-time winner of the tournament Ludwig Aberg. Aberg went one under the TPC Sawgrass course record in Round 2, settling for a 63 that put him in charge in 12 sub.
Two-time major winner Xander Schauffele is his closest follower. Schauffele shot a 65 on Friday to pull within two shots of Aberg.
Many other stars are in the mix heading into the weekend, including Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler AND Brooks Koepka.
World number 1 Scottie Scheffler and defending champion Rory McIlroy narrowly made the cut and the will both leave early on Saturday.
