He joked that Arshdeep’s “incredible intent” earned him the right to bat at No.8, drawing laughter from teammates and fans alike. The exchange struck a chord online, highlighting the strong camaraderie in the squad.
“Thank you, Paaji. The partnership was very strong, it was fun. You got some motivation out of yourself. You contributed. Your intent was unbelievable. Your surprise move from the ground changed the game. You won it with batting number 8,” Suryakumar said.
