‘Feel the Life’: Anirudh Ravichander’s T20 World Cup 2026 Anthem
The anthem has a global fusion sound that combines Anirudh’s signature electronic beats with high-energy verses that aim to capture adrenaline in the shortest format. The track has lyrics written in English Heisenberg and Hindi verses Raqueeb Alamspecifically designed to resonate with a diverse international audience.
“Here national pride surges with every shot / Where passion hits like a ball” Key words from Feel the Thrill
According to the ICC, the song reflects the “Feel the Life” campaign, focusing on the raw emotion and intensity of the 20 teams competing in 55 matches. Anirudh described the project as an attempt to “unite every heartbeat to the same tune” ahead of the fierce pitch competitions that will begin from February 7. Law and Chaleya“Feel the Thrill” struggled to win over traditional cricket audiences. Fans viewed the track as a “glorified club song” rather than a legendary sports anthem, and a number of criticisms were voiced.

It doesn’t feel like a World Cup anthem at all.
No energy, no emotion, no buildup.
It sounds like random beats with a sense of Excitement tacked on top.
Expected more from Anirudh but this one lacks rhythm and hype.It feels like the worst anthem in years.

Anirudh bhai totally blew all my expectations like ex did with my expectations.
– Seriously, I was very excited to hear that Anirudh is going to sing, it looks like it’s going to be a beautiful Tamil Hindi song. But to be honest, it didn’t feel that special to me. https://t.co/WdVAsmih7K

Sorry Anirudh but I didn’t feel any “Thrill” in the T20 World Cup song. Expectations are high and you are often disappointed.

World Cup 2021 banger “Live the Game” by Amit Trivedi was awesome and one of the best and Anirudh created this shit and got a chance to grow worldwide.
Amit Trivedi would be a banger again but BCCI. 😭🤡pic.twitter.com/KBdTX4cLo4 https://t.co/WwfrNbNRg6
