Puducherry’s pursuit falls short
Faced with a tough target, Puducherry never controlled the chase. Jashwanth Shreeram provided some resistance with a knock of 60, followed by Neyan Shyam Kangayan with 47. Despite these efforts, wickets continued to fall at regular intervals and the required run rate quickly became elusive.
In the end, Puducherry were bowled out for 235 in a heavy defeat by 133 runs. While the knock itself was significant, the match will be remembered more for what happened during Jharkhand’s innings.
Record breaking spell for Aman Khan
The attention of the cricketing world turned to Aman Khan, who finished with 10 innings, 1 wicket and 123 runs. This spell is now officially the most expensive in List A men’s cricket history.
