From childhood sweethearts to parents
Aiden and Nicole’s love story is one for the ages. The pair began dating in high school and remained a steady pair as Aiden rose through the ranks of South African cricket – from leading the U19 team to World Cup glory to becoming a mainstay of the senior national team.
They officially tied the knot in July 2023 in a beautiful ceremony. So far, their social media has been full of updates about their two adorable dogs, often referred to as their “first child.” This new chapter marks a significant milestone for the 31-year-old cricketer and his entrepreneur wife, who runs successful jewelery brand Nadora Jewellery.
A golden year for Aiden Markram
The timing of the announcement has already been a great year for Aiden. In early 2025, he reached the pinnacle of Test cricket as a key member of the South African team that lifted its first ICC World Test Championship title and was named Man of the Match after defeating Australia in a historic final. Notably, Aiden will be seen in IPL 2026 as a representative of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as he was retained by the franchise ahead of the IPL 2026 mini-auction.
