Fabio Wardley says he is aware that he is not facing a ‘British level’ or ‘European level’ heavyweight in his fight against WBO tussente heavyweight champion Joseph Parker on October 25 in the O2 arena in London.
Wardley (19-0-1, 18 COs) is aware of what he is facing and fighting against what he believes the #2 or #3 fighter in the division is behind the undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr uksyk. Parker (36-3, 24 CO’s) is at 33 at the top of his game, and he may have too much experience for Wardley.
Dazn PPV Stakes on October 25
Parker-Wardley will be displayed directly on Dazn PPV on October 25, 2025. It was priced at $ 59.99 in the US, and £ 25.99 in the UK (UK. The event starts at 1pm ET.
Not a British level fight
“I know it’s not one of those British level fights, not even like European level,” said Fabio Wardley Talksport Boxing About his struggle with Joseph Parker on October 25. “I want to be a lot at the top of the section and choose the top names.”
Well, if things don’t work out for Wardley in this battle, he’ll have a good excuse why he lost. He can blame it for his lack of experience for tackling a fighter of Parker’s class. Ideally, Wardley should have been against the opposition of the highest level a few years ago, rather than waiting until he is thirty years old to give him his first right test.
Wardley’s late step-up
This is an advanced age for someone who is taking an increase for the first time. The question is that Wardley was self -assured with his promoters, or did he passively allow them to send his career in a painful, time -spacing way? Either way, whatever a waste for him to stagnate three to five years.
“I couldn’t get my hands on USKyk. Joseph Parker is the next best man in the section. He is #2, maybe #3 even. It depends on how you want to post things, but he’s up there, ‘says Wardley.
Yes, of course, Parker is “there” behind “behind us, if not in front of him. It is a pity that Wardley could not get a proper step against one of the best heavyweights that would get him more experience for this battle. One of these fighters would have been ideal preparation for Fabio:
- Frank Sanchez
- Richard Torrez Jr.
- Thener but
- Bakhodir Yalolov
The only problem with the guys is that Wardley can lose for everyone because they are a significant step from people like Justis Huni and British fighters on which he built his record of 19-0.
Fabrio says he wants to add former WBO Heavyweight Champion Parker’s “Scalp” to his resume, and he feels that it would be a big case. It would certainly give him a credibility before fighting for a world title or being elevated to the WBA or WBO champion if utility is evacuated or stripped.
Wardley notes that he has respect for Parker, but it will disappear if the first Bell sounds on October 25. He is going to do everything business and do what he has to do to win. He will have no other choice.
Parker will hit him with a few bombs in this battle, just as in his fast second round of Martin Bakole on February 22, 2025.
Huni scares as wake -up call
Fabio mentions that he is glad he had to struggle in his last battle against Justis Huni on June 7, because it enabled him to “re -evaluate” himself to make changes to his game to adjust “for the Parker fight.
Wardley mentions that, if not what happened against Huni, he would not have had the experience of helping him prepare for Joseph. Fabio was behind 88-83, 89-82 and 89-82 when he scored a tenth round of Huni.
