Forms of match game

Ryder Cup team matches are played in two different formats: with four balls (the best ball) and four (alternative shots). Single game is the big finale of Ryder Cup and includes all 12 members of each team. Each player plays his ball in a head -to -face match against his opponent. The lowest result between the two players wins the hole.

Note

In individual hook game, if a player makes a bird and its opponent makes a dual noise, this is a three -stroke advantage. In the game of match, however, every hole is worth a point if you win it with a blow or five.

Winking a hole with a lower result than your opponent means you are 1 up. If two players tie a hole, that match is considered equal, connected, or the whole square. There is no carriage of subsequent holes.

Each of the 28 Ryder Cup matches is worth a point. Players or teams winning a match a match completely claim that point for their team. In the event of a tie after 18 holes, the point is common – 0.5 points each. No point is given for a loss.
