Veteran pro Marcel Siem did not have a good day on Thursday at 2025 BMW PGA Championship. But the six-time day of Tour World Tour’s winner worsened in the scorer tent after his round, where he warned of officials’ rules for his strange actions in the 18th hole, and then disqualified.
Give the strange nature of his DQ, Siem went to social media on Thursday night to explain the situation completely and denied that he had deceived.

In his story in the video, Siem began by stating that he “did not cheat”.
“Hey guys, I just wanted to give you a quick overview of what happened today. I just wanted to let you know that I didn’t cheat it. I would never do it, so I was disqualified, unfortunately,” Siem in the video said.
He then continued to give a detailed account of the 18th hole incident from his point of view.
Siem claimed that he mistakenly believed he had OB to the right of the 18th hole. That is why he chose to hit a provision rather than walking up and searching for his original purpose.
“On the 18th, I pushed my driver to the right, I hit a provision, thinking it was out of bounds to the right. I never knew it was the danger of water to the right. However, he found my provision,” he explained.

This is when the story takes another strange turn.
