As Novak Djokovic is helping the European Ryder Cup team

Mcilroy gets inspiration from Djokovic’s example

Mcilroy’s experience seeing the open tennis tour in the US, however, gave him inspiration from someone who has excelled in the largest stages when the crowd is against him: Djokovic. Mcilroy caught one of Gjokovic’s last matches on TV and removed some lessons.

“I think all we can do is control our response and our reaction to him. I saw a little from Novak Djokovic last night playing in his match against Taylor Fritz,” Mcilroy explained. “It was a very pro-American crowd. He has been the best in handling this kind-he had to deal with all his life, whether he is playing against an American in New York or playing against Roger or Rafa.”

And Excel Gjokovic has. Gjokovic holds All -time record for most tennis Grand Slam wins with 24. He has also spent more time as the Rangut No.1 player in the world than anyone else in tennis history.

Although he is now 38 years old and ranks No. 7, Gjokovic is putting another show this week at US Open, which he won four times. He is one of the four remaining players by men competing in Saturday’s semifinal.

Gjokovic continues his attempt for a fifth open US title Saturday with his semi -final match against Carlos Alcaraz (another golf nut) on 3 afternoon.

The 2025 Ryder Cup begins on September 26th in the black Bethpage State Park course in New York.
