The Sand Valley is aces in more ways than one – thanks to this convenience

Each of the five Golf courses in Sand Valley is a complete winner, but the country’s pleasures are not limited to a sport. For tennis obsessors, the widespread resort of Wisconsin is also aces.

Keisers can be the closest thing to the American Golf Kingdom, but their sports roots are at least so deep in tennis. Chris and Michael Keizer, the Sons of Bandon Dunes founder and winner of the USA Bob Jones Mike Keizer award, grew visiting their paternal grandparents in the Eastern Aurora, near Buffalo, where there were always family tennis matches, as well as golf and hikes – anything to enjoy.

In 2017, shortly after the first eponymous course in Chris and Michael’s Sand Valley Resort in Wisconsin, Mike Keizer looked from the 9th green in the practice of his sons. “Dad says,” Guys, which looks like a perfect lawn court, “recalls Chris, a former specialist in his high school team. “” Put a mesh, leave some rackets and balls there and see what happens. “”

This meant the movement of the courts near the Sedge Valley course and outside the recently discovered tennis building – which itself accommodates America’s only home for home sports called Tenis Court. (Court tennis places – there are only 12 such courts in the country – make chicken teeth look like chicken eggs.)

Maintain from Sand Sand’s Case Basics crew, grass courts are predetermined with few ryegrass to help healing. They play strong and fast, just like the surrounding roads and greens. During the summer, players can hire Junior caddies to change gears and serve as ball boys and ball girls.

So then: Pickleball? Dam no.

“Strategically, we want to do things that others do not do or cannot,” Chris Keizer says. “We are probably thinking of platform tennis.”
