Madison Keys will start things with the first round clash with Renata Zarazu, Mexico, with Francis Tiefo taking the brakes from there. The semifinalist twice fights Yoshihito Nishioka, Japan.
Night session will be plunged while 45-year-old Venus Williams gets to last year’s semifinalist Karolina Muchova, while Bomb Service Reilly Opelka will take a shot in the 2022 champion Carlos Alcaraz in Nightcap.
Youth Brigade in Armstrong
A very talented 18-year-old pair will take the court at Louis Armstrong on Monday, while Victoria Roko of Canada begins things with her main US Open debut.
Roko, who won her first WTA title in Montreal earlier this month will face Barbora Prekikova’s top champion twice. Talk about the test with fire in the Grand Slam phase.
In the last game of the evening, Mirra Andreeva will face difficulties in Alycia’s American parks. The talented Andreeva has reached the second week of all three Grand Slams so far this season, but it has never gone through the second round in two previous appearances in New York.
Petra’s last attitude?
All eyes will be twice the champion of Wimbledon Petra Kvitová while facing Frenchman Diane Parry and what could be her last match ever on the tournament.
The duo will collide in the first game of the day, starting at 11am in Grandstand.
Kvitova, who owns 31 titles of bachelors, has not lost in the first round in Queens since 2011. It is 34-14 Lifetime in US Open.
