How to watch the President Cup

This week the Presidents Cup heads to Royal Montreal for the 15th game of the hole-in-the-wall event 12 American pros against 12 top international pros from outside Europe.

The USA holds a dominant 12-1-1 record in the competition, which is played in alternate years of the Ryder Cup, including a huge 17.5-12.5 win over the international team in 2022 at Quail Hollow on American soil.

But now the internationals will be the home team and they will be coached by the Canadian professional Mike Weirwho won the 2003 Masters to become the only Canadian to win a men’s Masters. The American team has the captain Jim Furyk at the top.

As with the Ryder Cup, the Presidents Cup will feature a series of four-ball and foursome matches pitting two American players against international players, followed by a final round on Sunday of 12 singles matches.

Unlike the Ryder Cup, the Presidents Cup is contested over four days, Thursday-Sunday, instead of three.

Fans watching the action from home will have extensive TV viewing options and additional online options. NBC and Golf Channel will handle telecasts of the Presidents Cup and streaming options will be available via peacock.

2024 Presidents Cup TV Schedule (ET)

Television coverage of the 2024 Presidents Cup will be provided by NBC and the Golf Channel. Golf Channel will air extended telecasts on Thursday and Friday, as well as early coverage on Saturday, with NBC providing full coverage on Saturday and the final day of matches on Sunday.

Here’s the full President’s Cup TV schedule for the week:

Thursday, September 26: 11:30 – 18:00 (GOLF Channel)
Friday, September 27: 1-6pm (Golf Channel)
Saturday, September 28: 7-8 a.m. (Golf Channel); 08:00-18:00 (NBC)

peacock is the primary broadcast home of the 2024 Presidents Cup. Peacock will offer live simulcasts of NBC’s television coverage on Saturday from 8:00am-6:00pm ET and Sunday from 12:00pm-6:00pm ET.
