Keith Thurman says he wants to fight against Terence Crawford and Errol Spence in 2026. “Once” Thurman (31-1, 23 CO’s) mentions that he is fighting later this year, he will be ready to make the ‘big fights’ in 2026. He will wait for the contracts.
Spence, 35, has not fought in two years since his loss of Crawford in 2023, and he will probably have no interest in fighting Thurman when he comes out of pension. It’s a no-go. Keith wanted nothing to do with the fight against Errol when he was at the top of his game in 2016 and 2017. Spence wanted to fight Thurman, but there was no interest of ‘once’.
Thurman, 36, has been too inactive for the past six years to consider a viable option for Bud. There is no interest in fans in that battle, because Thurman is considered an older fighter from the previous generation. Although he is technically one year younger than 37-year-old Crawford, his inactivity and chronic injuries make him consider a fossil of a bygone era.
“The Spence battle, the Bud Crawford struggle, it’s fighting of my generation that I just think a lot of struggles will understand why we make these battles happen. These are good battles,” Keith Thurman said Millcity Boxing about his desire to fight Errol Spence and Terence Crawford.
Crawford is fighting in September Canelo Alvarez, and he will get big money for the Riyadh season-promoted fight. If Terence does not retire after the fight or get a re -broadcast, he will be looking for the greatest, most relevant name. It would probably be at 154 against the WBC champion Sebastian Fundora.
“They already know that my style is harder for Bud than the Spence style. I want to run it once in the game, ‘Thurman said he never gets the chance to fight against Crawford. “We never saw each other in the amateurs in the ring. We could at least see each other in the lead. ‘
Thurman looked old and slow in his last fight against Brock Jarvis in March. Keith came from a three -year dismissal, and the only thing he had was his power. It was still there, but his hand and foot speed were gone. He moved around the ring as if he had rust in his joints.

‘Thurman is unlikely to be involved in any’ big ‘battles by the end of 2025 or in 2026. He sounds deceived. Keith has only fought twice since 2019. His brittle, elderly body had trouble staying healthy to make it through training camps.
