Seven months after his professional boxing career, super-featherweight newly Zaquin Moses appeared his fourth ring, and once again Moses had a successful excursion when he stopped Carl Rogers (3-3) in the fourth round.
The Moses vs. Rogers Bout took place in the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden, as part of the bottom map of Hitchins vs Kambosos. Boxing is a sport based on levels, and Saturday night Moses levels appeared above his opponent.
In the opening round of the competition, Carl Rogers beat first when he landed a solid right on the body. The Southpaw Zaquin Moses continued to work with accuracy while constantly connecting with the stab, the straight left hand and the right heel.
Rogers started the second round with an overhand right. Moses looked very relaxed in the second round when he worked from the sting and landed a few solid body shots.
Moses kept it on speed control in round 3 as he stepped down Rogers and kept hitting him with a variation of pushing. At this point in battle, Moses began to make the boxing match look like a glorified sparring session.
The 20-year-old Moses hit Rogers with a sharp sample early in the fourth round. After landing the first minute of the fourth minute, Moses continued to attack the body.
Seconds later, Moses went over to the throw of combinations, while he dropped Rogers as he landed a right hook to the temple. Rogers got up, but when the match continued, Moses landed a spate of shots that forced the referee to step in and stop the competition.
With the victory, Newark New Jersey native Zaquin Moses (4-0, 3 COs) showed his patience, speed, strength, accuracy and large punching. During his interview after the fight, Zaquin Moses talked about his attitude that came with Rogers in his fight.
“Do what I do and have fun. I knew this child was not at my level when they first sent him to me, but to do what I was doing and having fun, and as I said at the press conference, I work hard and show it here, ‘Moses said.
Zaquin Moses is the cousin of WBC lightweight world champion Shakur Stevenson. In his four-ring look, Moses showed an abundance of talent and potential. For his next battle, Moses expressed interest in having a match in the UK (UK).
