Is it a brand that prevails in PGA Tour wins in 2025?

We have had some repeatrs in PGA Tour this year – Scottie Scheffler, Rory Mcilroy, Sepp Straka and now Ben Griffin. As we know that each golf player has their own individual fraud bag, we wanted to take a deeper look at if a special golf club brand is the best in the tournament for this winning group. What we found was a mix of popular favorites, some surprises and some clear patterns that may be worth paying attention to as an amateur player.

Leaders: The title runs but Taylormade and Ping are near

Among the winners of PGA Tour 2025, Were used title leaders In seven victories, making it the most used brand so far. Taylormade managers were shortly after six and Ping drivers calculated five – including Griffin’s two victories and Victor Hovland’s victory with the elderly G425 LST.

Fairway Woods: Taylormade is The Go-To

Taylormade Fairway Woods appeared in at least 12 of the 25 winning bags, often on both games with 3 wood and 5 wood. Taylormade’s strong presence in the Fairway wood category was largely due to Scheffler and Mcilroy (both Tayormade players) who had two wins each.

However, other players like Nick Taylor and Ben griffin Also play Taylormade Fairway Woods.

Hybrids and cuffs of services

U505 U505 Iron Title Appeared in at least five winning bags including Joe Highsmith, Brian Harman and Russell Henley. Callaway’s Apex UW was also popular among Callaway staff like min woo lee and straka.

Many are passing through traditional hybrids and opt for cuff driving like U505 or Your roof. If you are not sure with your long handcuffs or hybrids, an iron of service can be your best bet.

Irons: Title and Taylormade go head to head

The title irons were used in at least 10 wins With t100 being the most common model. Taylormade handcuffs (included RORY’S RORS Proto AND Scottie’s P7Tw) were used in six wins. Mizuno made her mark through two Griffin’s victories.

Wedges: Vokey is still the king

Wedges Titeist Vokey (SM9 AND SM10) appeared in at least 12 of the 23 winning bags, more than any other wedge brand with a wide margin. Callaway Jaws Raw was a distant second, appearing mainly with their staff players.

Tournament players trust Vokey’s wedges about the greens.

Putters: Scotty Cameron is still everywhere

If you want to know why you hear so much about Scotty Cameron, there can be a lot of links to their presence in the tournament. Scotty Cameron Putters were in the bags of at least 10 winners, including multiple models (Phantom x 5.5, Newport 2Rat Tour). Odyssey and Ping followed back with several appearances each.

Golf balls: Titerist Pro v1 and pro v1x prevail

Of all the categories, this is the most beloved. Twenty of the 23 winners used Titix Pro V1 or Pro v1x. The only visible exceptions were players using Tayormade (TP5/tp5x), Srixon (Z-Star XV) or Callaway (Chrome Soft X).

If you want to win at PGA Tour, having a pro v1 or pro v1x in the bag is a step in the right direction.

Final thoughts

While no single brand predominates across the table, Titles stays in general. Title led for drivers, handcuffs, wedges, putters and golf balls. Taylormade AND Ping are right there in the mixture with Decent showing strength in hybrid and wedge options for their employees.
