Heavyweight Dave Allen (24-7-2, 18 CO’s) excluded a trilogy match that took place with Johnny Fisher (13-1, 11 COs) after knocking him out in their Rematch in the Copper Box Arena in London, England, in the fifth round on Saturday night.

Hearn confirms rematch -clause
Allen said it would not be in Fisher’s best ‘interest’ for him to fight a trilogy contest. He does not want to ruin Johnny’s career. However, Fisher’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, revealed that they have a rematch clause. He said they would not immediately take the re -broadcast with Allen, because he first wanted to put him in a rebuilding.
Tonight Allen Fisher dropped twice in the fifth round to get the knockout. He caught Fisher, 26, with a left hook to the jaw and sent him to the second knockout. Referee Marcus McDonnell stopped the competition as soon as Fisher hit the canvas.
Fisher’s corner throws towel
His corner threw in the towel to ensure the competition is stopped. It didn’t matter. Fisher was so badly injured that he couldn’t get up from the canvas.
Fisher spent a lot of energy and moved around the ring. When he stood on his ground, he used a lot to neutralize Allen’s offense, but he still made contact with some large shots in each round.
Interestingly, Allen only opened up to fifth place with his offense. He deliberately held back in rounds 1 to 4, played Possum and Fisher spent energy.
In fifth place, Allen finally opened his offense and landed a hard left hand on the body, followed by a club stick on the side of the head. Fisher left like a rocket and showed that he was injured. Allen cut off the ring and left a right to the head to put him down. When Fisher got up, his legs looked unstable, and he didn’t look in good shape.
Allen rushes Fisher to the ropes and hits him with a left hand to the bread basket, followed by a right. Those shots were thrown hard. Fisher instinctively dropped his hands to cover his center, which left him wide open for Allen to make contact with a crushing left hook to the jaw that cut his head sideways. Fisher collapsed first place on the canvas, and referee McDonnell stopped the fight.

Allen will have no choice about the re -broadcast. Hearn has already said that they have a rematch clause, and they intend to use it. Fisher does not have many options for fights that pay just as well as this one that is semi-awful to him.
