The iconic champions are now fashionable influencers.
Grand Slam Champions Novak Djokovic and Venus Williams are brand champions for Lacoste. Supers are two of the five prominent figures to play at Lacoste’s New Play with icons campaign
The campaign pairs the Ambassadors of the Lacoste iconic brand with some of the most classic parts of the French brand before Roland Garros, which begins on May 25.
“Play with icons celebrates icons staying in the heart of the Lacoste brand today: its eternal, universal parts – and the bold personalities who wear them every day,” Lacoste said in a statement. “The campaign is made up of a series of bold, stylized portraits and films that explore unique chemistry between the five Lacoste ambassadors and some of the brand’s most iconic parts – each interpreted with an artistic lens and a pleasant spirit.”
Nip Tyler Mitchell photographed and filmed iconic figures for the campaign.
“Dressed in Lacoste’s iconic polo, Novak Djokovic is draped into a golden tennis net turned into a regal cape,” Lacoste told the Djokovic image. “The image celebrates both man and dress, honoring the undisputed status of Djokovic’s goat as it reaffirms Poland’s place in the pantheon of fashion and sports icons.”

44-year-old Venus Williams, who will debut as a tennis television analyst during the next coverage of Roland Garros of TNT Sports, ear Lacoste at Met Gala in New York City on Monday evening.
