Callaway has fallen a new version of his well -known Golf Ball Chrome Soft and something about him certainly looks familiar.
The young man’s design Chrome Soft 360 Stripe Yellow holds more than a passing resemblance to Strips for Taylormade Tournament response. I’m thinking you don’t need me to emphasize this.
Yellow neon? Really?
Not the first Callaway ribbon

For what is worth, 360 new yellow stripes is not the first Callaway forada in the line world.
360 triple trackwhich is essentially just an unfulfilled bar, has been in the formation for a while.
360 faded pattern available in soft ERC It’s a ribbon. The same is true Sprinklewhich, as the name implies, contains a pattern of ribbon filled with spraying.
Callaway has made versions of the lines for a while; This new one just happens to be a little more open than others.
I think there are some ways to see this.
In a year when Callaway seems to go out of her way to set herself as a laboratory brand, borrowing from the Tayormade catalog suggests a systematic lack of authenticity.

Equally just as true that Callaway and Taylormade are engaged in a long decade for tat. This is only the latest volleyball in the back and on the two largest industry rivals.
In this regard, it is just business as usual.
For additional context, it is worth noting that Truvis came before Pix, and while I have not yet seen new Chrome Soft personally, there is a voice in my head (sounds a lot like a Callaway boy) telling me that the quality of printing is better (Tayormade’s model is pixel) and that the strip is more reliable (perhaps).
Ultimately
As with everything else in Golf, comes a point at which anyone made it first ceases, and frankly, a ribbon in a golf ball that is hardly qualified as one of the biggest innovations of the game.
Once again, it is what it is.

My hope is that the shape of the Callaway on the wide extension of the strips provides cover for everyone else. I’ve said before – I believe wide models are extremely useful for setting green. If borrowing a little inspiration from a competitor begins the open door to others to place better extension features on their golf balls, I am everything for it.
Wouldn’t it be good if you could get any model you want in whatever ball you choose to play?
