Manchester United fans have been given a more detailed view of the competition of the 17 -year -old Chido Obi striker, who has participated in four first team games since last month.
Obi arrived from Arsenal in September with a huge reputation at a youth level for his prolific scorer. The United has experienced it with 12 goals in nine appearances in the Premier League and the FA Youth.
It was promoted to the U-21 template in January, before joining the senior side in February.
During this international break, Obi has played his first two games for the Denmark Under-21 team, appearing as a substitute for friendships against Poland and Italy, both of which are finishing.
Obi is up to five years younger than some of his teammates and those who were against, but he still impressed coach Steffen Hojer.
“He is a very young man. He was there to learn, and we had him with us to value it,” Hojer said in the Danish publication Tips in the magazine. “It was a good impression and I really liked to see how it adapted to the squad and how the boys welcomed him.
“He had a very good trip and he has been well. Now he returns home to continue working on Manchester United And look if you can get a little more play time there. “
Discussing Obi’s particular skills as a striker, Hojer refers to a clinical streak and positional sense.
“What you expect with a player like him is that he has a chance because his absolute key force is to be in the box and put the ball on the net,” said the coach.
“This opportunity did not arrive. But he came in and worked with the team in a hard situation, so you couldn’t wait much more from him.”
