Our topics;
1. The Karsten Warholm vs. Mondo Duplantis 100m exhibition, sponsored by Red Bull and PUMA, drew 3,000 people today. Duplantis pulls ahead from the gun thanks to a masterful start. Duplantis ran 10.37 to Warholm’s 10.47 and soon after announced she could run 10.25 before challenging Sydney McLaughlin-Levron in the 400m.
A perfect start kept Mondo in the lead to win the 100m race. Duplantis finishes in 10.37, just ahead of Warholm’s 10.47. 🏁

2. Sydney Mclaughlin-Levrone is announced to compete in the Ivo Van Damme DL Finals. He is not. Because he did not have a single DL event in 2024, he is ineligible. He will run the non-DL 200m and 400m before the meet.
3. The sad thing is this. The Diamond League needs Sydney, but the SML doesn’t really need the Diamond League. Until the DL excludes their ranks, they will have incidents like this.
4. The NB Fifth Avenue Mile is on September 8, 2024. Josh Kerr is the big star of the event.
5. The Atlas meeting is on September 26, 2024. Six great races at Icahn Stadium.
