Brooks Koepka wants to return to PGA Tour, says Fred couples.
But The 1992 Masters Winner is also skeptical to HOW Pro Liv Golf would come back, should a financial agreement Be struck between the tournament and the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund, which also finances LIV. Apparently, an agreement would allow Liv Pro, many of whom once played in the tournament, a chance to play tour events again.
But would they be left at the tournament events, created after Liv started playing in 2022? These events exhibit large bags and limited fields – and couples ask what would look like with additional players.
“I talk to her Brooks koepka All the time. I love Brooks Koepka, “he said.” And, I will not say anything extra, except I talk to him all the time – where you are playing next and, you know, when you go and all these things – and he wants to come back, I will say that. I believe he really wants to return and play the tournament.
“But for me personally, there are many boys who will be encouraged … … I don’t know how you get an event raised with 72 or 77 people and brings seven superstars. What do you say to them seven? And I go, you know, bye-bye.”
The couples’ comments came through a recent interview with Dave Mahler and Dick Fain to Seattle based KJJ 93.3 FM – thing you can Listen completely here – And they continue a series of thoughts on Livin from the world golf hall. The plestitis has often hit the series, and his main beef has been with those who have received excavations in PGA Tour, but he also transmitted complaints about the funding and Liv format.
“I don’t think I will ever understand”, PleSifts said for liv in masters in April. “Maybe I will go to an (Liv Event) and see how it really is, really. I know how brilliant they are as players. I get it all, and I get 54 holes and you drive a carriage on your top and shotg. That’e easy to choose. I’ve invested 44 years, and I don’t want anyone to choose in a tour I think it’s very good.
“Now, everything can get better, but let me tell you if the Liv tour is better for golf, I miss something there. But again, I’m not here to do them anymore.”
Couples’ comments also come as PGA Tour and PIF talks seem to be making progress in the agreement agreed in principle in June 2023. One of the climbing points, apparently, has been what couples pointed out: what would look like tours if the parties gather.

“We are trying to make a tour now with the youngest players, and it was really reaching,” couples said during the interview. “… The tour of the tour is going at a lower speed and lower and lower. And even the child Luke ClantonI think he had another brilliant round today. … But he is a superstar. But no one really – you know, people in Seattle, if you said, who he is, they don’t know. … They are not Ion Rahm OR Cam smith either stream or Dustin (Johnson)But they will be.
“And so we throw them a bone to get back to the tour, I don’t think … I know or really at this time someone knows.”
Long CBS notifier Jim Nantzwho was also interviewed by the Radio Station, also asked what events would look like if an agreement would be hit, along with “this Golf concept that seems to be so important to the Livi leader at Yasir al-Rumayyan”. Nantz then said he believed that Golf was in a good place and that PGA Tour had lever in negotiations.
“I think the game is okay,” Nantz said during the interview. “You know, we’ve got almost some kind of almost conditioned to say, when can we solve this thing? When can we solve it, as the tour is sick? I don’t believe it is hurting. Now I understand that there is some fire power, Star Power who left and left for money, but we have developed – I say we – we have a boy. name Ludwig aberg. We are finding ways to make PGA Tour a very interesting hour. Ratings come to the west coast, from the road, we are nearly 20 percent.
“So, I mean, I don’t think the game is hurting so much. I don’t think the tour, for me – and then no one is asking me to get involved in negotiations – the tour should not be desperate now. I think there is much more lever on the PGA Tour now than the Liv side.”
