This past Saturday, in the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in a fight flocked to Dazn worldwide. Former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker left against heavyweight contender Martin Bakole.
Parker was originally scheduled to challenge the ruling IBF heavyweight champion, Daniel Dubois. It didn’t happen. Instead, Dubois pulled out due to illness a few days before the scheduled performance. On an extraordinary short notice, Martin Bakole acted as a substitute at the last moment, where he missed the weigh -in because he was still flying to the venue. Parker weighed on a 267 career, and Bakole allegedly weighed his own career of his own, 310 pounds.
The fight did not last especially long, but it was interesting while it lasted. It seems that Bakole had the right idea, but without proper training and preparation he was not a very well -prepared park at short notice. Parker ends up a big right on top of Bakole’s head that dropped him in round 2, and Bakole’s corner stops the fight.
For Parker, it’s now 6 wins in a row since he was knocked out by Juggernaut Joe Joyce. During that finish line, the last 3 wins were especially striking. First Parker won a unanimous 12 -round decision against the former long ruling WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. After that, Parker won a 12 -round decision against Zhilei Zhang, who in the process overcame adversity, and rose from two knockouts to win. Now Parker still has the stop victory against the late replacement Bakole, which was even taken into context, on a fair role.
