Tottenham Hotspur has expressed admiration for Bournemouth’s director Andoni Iraola, but is committed to supporting Ange Postecoglou for the moment.
Despite the club’s struggles at the Premier League this season, the journalist Ben Jacobs explained Givemmesport.
According to Jacobs, the Spurs have no immediate plans to separate that postcoglou and other management options are not actively raised at this time.
Although there were reports that linked them with Iraola earlier this month, the club is still focused on supporting the postcoglu through what has been a challenging campaign – With the club struggling with an unprecedented crisis.
Despite Iraola’s strong reputation, especially for his work in Bournemouth, Spurs does not yet have to make a formal approach for the age of 42.

Jacobs has reported that while the Espanyol is appreciated in Tottenham, the club is currently not looking for postcoglou and has no urgency to create a list of possible successors.
“It is true that Tottenham appreciated Andoni Iraola, but it is nothing more than at this stage, they have made no focus.
“They have not crystallized any plans after the ANGE, because they want to support the postcoglou.
“If, if, hypothetically, there is a vacancy, wait for Iraola to discuss more.
“But now there is no vacancy and there is no urgency to prepare this list in this phase of the season.”
Iraola, now in her second season in Bournemouth, guided the club to her best premier League final of 12th place last season. This term has set its views even higher, and at present the side has a remarkable campaign: they sit in the sixth place with 12 remaining games.
In fact, cherries are in the first place to challenge a historic European qualification site, which the club has never achieved before.
