Chloe Kelly joins Arsenal on loan from WSL Rivals Man City

Chloe Kelly has completed a Limit Loan from Manchester City to Old Arsenal Club.

Kelly, the hero of the European Championship of England in 2022, had fallen badly in the blue half of Manchester and will now end the 2024/25 campaign with red, at which time his contract with City will expire.

The 27 -year -old reinforced Brighton & Hove Albion’s interest in sealing his move, although Late Arsenal’s interest was a surprise after it initially seemed that Manchester United would sign it. Kelly has a personal life settled in the northwest, but was born and raised in the capital, joining the Arsenal Academy as a young man and debuted in the 17-year-old first team in 2015.

“Chloe is an exciting attacking player and will be a great complement to our squad when we approach the second half of the season,” said Renee Slegers, lead coach of Arsenal.

“That is direct and explosive, with great talent and natural capacity. We all look forward to working with Chloe as a Arsenal player in the coming months.”

Kelly had taken social media on Wednesday evening to express his frustration due to the situation in the city, initially blocking his desires to leave the club.

“With the euros approaching quickly, this summer is huge and I want to be in a position to give it my best to represent my country,” he said in this post.

“However, being dictated to whom I can and I cannot join -with only four months of the football season is to have a huge impact on not only my career for my mental well -being.”

Laura Wienroither has also joined Manchester City on loan from Arsenal.
