WEST – Noman Ali Hat-hat-trick to make history for Pakistan VS West Indies


Pakistan National Cricket team is currently facing West Indies National Cricket team in the second and final test at Multan Cricket stadium. Pakistan started strongly with the ball after West Indies chose to bat first on a spin pitch after winning the toss in Multan.

Pakistan Spinners are completely on song as West Indies lost eight wickets in the first session of the opening day of the ongoing second and final Test at the Multan Cricket Stadium. Noman has been particularly lethal as he has wreaked havoc on West Indies’ Line taking 4 wickets so far.

With his sensational performance, Noman created history by becoming the first Pakistani spinner to take a hat-trick in Test cricket on Day 1 of the West Indies Test.

The left-arm spinner achieved the historic feat by dismissing Justin Greaves, Tevin Imlach and Kevin Sinclair in three consecutive deliveries in the 12th over of West Indies’ first innings. It was Noma’s first hat trick in international cricket.

It all started with the 12’s ball. Noman saved a fly ball on the outside that turned sharply after the bounce. Justin Greaves has a flying edge between first and second slip as he tries to defend. Babar Azam, at second slip, darted to his left and took a clean catch as the greabes managed just 1 run off 1 ball.

On the next ball, Tevin Imlach was caught in a trap set by the Pakistan Spinner. In fact Tevin Imlach tried to sweep a delivery outside the off stump but missed the ball too much and the 28-year-old was trapped LBW for a duck.

And in a hat-trick ball, noman sent Kevin Sinclair back to the pavilion for a duck with a ball away from the edge. Kevin Sinclair played an angled bat and the ball stretched out to take an edge. Yet again, Babar Azam survives to the right to take another sharp catch.

After completing the hat-trick, Noman Ali, his teammates crawled to celebrate his morale in test cricket, the first Pakistani spinner to do so in test cricket and keep the pitch do the rest.

Mohammad Hurraira hit a helmet on the 1st day of the Multan Test

Meanwhile, West Indies’ first innings against Pakistan in Multan, Pakistan’s first innings, was bowled in a helmet in the first slip. In fact, Abrar Ahmed took part in a flight on the sister side and Gudakesh Motie swept it hard, but the ball hit Hurraira’s helmet before rolling behind square on the ball side.

The Pakistan team physio then rushed to the ground to check Mohammad Hurraira, possibly for concussion. Fortunately, Hurraira was a bit dazzled but had to come off the field as a precaution and Kamran Ghulam went through at first slip with a new helmet.
