Sunrisers’ advantage in the game
The Sunrisers are led by the efforts of the Eastern Cape bowlers Marco Jansen and Gleeson capitalized on early breakthroughs to bundle Durban Super Giants to a paltry 115/8 in 20 overs. Kane Williamson‘s patient 44 was the only bright spot for the batting side, with Naveen-ul-Haq’s 15 off 30 balls providing some resistance.
In reply, Sunrisers comfortably chased down the target in 15.2 overs David Bedingham‘s blazing 39 off 20 balls and Aiden Markram‘s 31 off 20 sealing the win.
While Sunrisers put in a complete performance to secure a six-wicket victory, Dawson’s one-handed wonder was undoubtedly the highlight of the match.
